AlexLikeRocklol00:46
AlexLikeRock fine00:46
AlexLikeRockhttps://paste.mozilla.org/ncwQEyHR00:47
AlexLikeRockrrq,00:47
AlexLikeRockthey try to install from  "/media/alex/deVuan-ninos1/var/cache/apt/archives"00:49
AlexLikeRockbut they are empy00:49
AlexLikeRocksorry00:50
AlexLikeRock they try to install from /media/alex/deVuan-ninos1/var/cache/apt/archives/partial00:50
AlexLikeRockbut they are empy00:50
AlexLikeRockthey are at  /media/alex/deVuan-ninos1/var/cache/apt/archives00:50
rrq"partial" is only used during download00:51
rrqthis is for an "updated" command which doesn't install packages00:52
rrqit downloads meta files00:52
rrqyou may put   APT::Sandbox::User "root";   in /etc/apt/apt.conf to avoid the sandboxing, if you think that's related00:53
rrqis the disk full?00:54
AlexLikeRockyes , partial is only during download00:56
AlexLikeRocki did  aptitude upgrade00:56
AlexLikeRocki did one more time00:57
AlexLikeRock and change the error00:57
AlexLikeRocknot full disk00:58
rrqok, (the pasted log is "aptitude update") ... do you have a local apt cacher? it does happen that those hold on for a while to "corrupted" files01:00
rrqand try with    APT::Sandbox::User "root";   in the chroot-ed /etc/apt/apt.conf (create it if missing)01:03
AlexLikeRockmmmm01:07
AlexLikeRockyes its empy01:07
rrqyes nowadays most "default" config is held in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/ so /etc/apt/apt.conf is available for site-local stuff01:09
AlexLikeRockcd /var/cache/apt/archives01:18
AlexLikeRockdpkg -i *.deb01:19
AlexLikeRockrun so fine01:19
AlexLikeRock but have some herror  news01:19
AlexLikeRockhttps://paste.mozilla.org/psey4kp701:20
AlexLikeRocktake a little look01:20
rrqright; you should use dpkg -i -E  .. to avoid messing with already installed packages01:22
rrqthat should yield a more focussed error output01:23
AlexLikeRockthanks01:23
AlexLikeRockok rrq   let me reboot and try01:24
AlexLikeRockrrq, im back02:09
rrqsame?02:10
AlexLikeRockremoving  some one pakages ... then reinstall02:15

rrqI'm guessing at a usrmerge issue ...02:35
rrqif this is a new debootstrap you should prime the target with the silly-links before debootstrap02:37
AlexLikeRocktime to eat chiken at sauce :-P02:51

AlexLikeRock" reported back (2 vs 7)."   ?????06:26
rrqI have no idea (and don't use apt)... but a quick web earch says "nothing to worry about"06:29
rrqtry    apt-get -f install   to see if there's more06:30
rrq(actully I do use "apt" on occasion but not much)06:32
AlexLikeRockthanks06:33
aritygnarface: 1)cables are ok since other computers works 2)i did "xrandr --output --HDMI-1 --auto" 3) im using same dwm on both the computers 4) if dpms was turned off, still xrandr output shuld should show "HDMI-1 connected" instead of "HDMI-1 disconnected". I have come to the conclusion that the HDMI port on this has some hardware issues.(Pardon my English) ty for help and also xwindows ty06:34

AlexLikeRockbecause i migrate from x86 to AMD64 this devuan :-D09:13
CueXXIIIoh, good luck09:13
AlexLikeRockfrom devuan jessie x86 to amd64  :  i all ready done .09:14
AlexLikeRock but te problem come ,whe change of PC ,09:14
AlexLikeRocki migrate my HDD to a new laptop09:14
CueXXIIIyou might want to install all tools for mkinitrd in their amd64 version first09:15
AlexLikeRockthe problem come , whit drivers/firmwares differents09:15
AlexLikeRockyes, that its the work of today09:15
CueXXIIIbefore building the initrd, i mean09:16
AlexLikeRockmigrate some missing files to be migrated09:16
CueXXIIIi don't know if mkinitrd supports a mixture of 32bit and 64bit x86 binaries in there09:16
AlexLikeRockof course not09:16
AlexLikeRockheheh09:16
AlexLikeRockdebian its not ready to coexist with both worlds09:17

AlexLikeRockits the same problem  https://dev1galaxy.org/viewtopic.php?id=634109:55
AlexLikeRockany one can translate to human?09:56
gnarfaceAlexLikeRock: it says "please install the linux-headers-5.10.0-30-amd64 package to fix this" did you try that?10:21
gnarfaceseems like you might be missing a couple other things too and i'm not sure if the dependencies will be properly attached; try installing "build-essential" too and make sure that gives you the kmod package10:22
gnarfaceone of your drivers requires dkms, so you need kernel module build dependencies installed before upgrading any kernels10:23
gnarfaceonce you have all the proper build dependencies, you can "apt-get --reinstall install linux-image-5.10.0-30-amd64" and it should work10:24
AlexLikeRockyes dkms , thanks10:45
gnarfacehopefully we're to infer that worked, i guess?10:55
AlexLikeRocki got a problem23:36
AlexLikeRocktty :    user@(none):/$23:36
gnarfaceAlexLikeRock: did you get dkms working?23:36
AlexLikeRockhi there gnarface , work good ,   yesterday they need it to insyall23:37
gnarfacepopulate your /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname file23:37
AlexLikeRockok23:38
AlexLikeRock# cat  /etc/hosts23:38

gnarface127.0.0.1localhost.localdomainlocalhost23:40
gnarfacehost.domain host23:40
AlexLikeRockits not a server , just a home laptop23:40
gnarfacesecond, i'm not sure you can repeat the same IP address23:40
gnarfaceso it might just ignore or replace previous records, not sure23:40
AlexLikeRockthey are diffetrent23:40
gnarfaceoh23:41
AlexLikeRockok, ignore seccond23:41

gnarfacei dunno what 127.0.1.1 is for, i removed it after the first time it got in my way23:41
rrqAlexLikeRock: cat /etc/hostname23:42
gnarfacebut the point is, 127.0.0.1 is localhost23:42
AlexLikeRockok, yes ,good think23:42
gnarfacedon't rename localhost23:42
gnarfaceput in your own LAN iop23:42
gnarfaceip*23:42
gnarfaceand then give that a name23:42
AlexLikeRock¿??23:42
AlexLikeRockok,23:43
rrqAlexLikeRock: cat /etc/hostname23:43
gnarfacerrq: i think he already showed that23:43

AlexLikeRock127.0.0.1 localhost23:44
AlexLikeRock#127.0.0.1 sexy23:44
AlexLikeRock#127.0.1.1 debian23:44
gnarfacebut i think the issue is either that it's localhost or that he's only got 2 fields populated in hosts23:44
rrq.. and usinig /etc/init.d/hostname.sh ?23:44
gnarfacei thought the issue might be that he was reusing the IP twice but i misread 127.0.1.1 the first time23:44
gnarfaceprobably'23:44
AlexLikeRockrrq,  cat  /etc/hostname     ---> sexy23:45
gnarfacebut i'm not sure what specific stuff gets it from /etc/hosts and what gets it from /etc/hostname, it varies23:45
rrq.. and changes only show up in a new shell23:45
AlexLikeRockrrq,   not  an  ..sh23:46
