To be able to use maemoscrobbler you have to configure it first.
After installation, run Control Panel and enter your Last.FM credentials in
the Scrobbling settings window. You can disable scrobbling any time by
turning off the relevant option in Scrobbling settings. The settings window
also displays the Last.FM uplink status, like time of last submission and
the last occured error, if any.

Authentication errors silently stop the scrobbling process, but your played
tracks are still recorded. If such an error occurs, (i.e. Last.FM profile is
not getting updates) you might have to jumpstart the scrobbler by clicking
the "continue" button in the Settings window.

Tracks played in the default media player, or any other media player using
the OSSO Media Server architecture (Canola, UKMP, etc) will be automatically
scrobbled. To scrobble from any other player/system, (MPlayer, xmms) specific
maemoscrobbler support in the player is needed.
