General Information
===================

Maemo Periodic is a periodic table for Nokia 770. It shows you a periodic table of the elements and it offers you information about each element.

I (Yerga) decide to develop this application because I am studying Chemistry (in 2006) and I love the chemistry. Also I am learning a bit of python programming, and the best way of learning is doing applications.
Later Luis began to take part in the project and now he's a key piece of this one.

Maemo Periodic it's available only for the Maemo platform.

To use Maemo Periodic in your Nokia 770 you'll need all of the following:

* python2.4
* python2.4-gtk2
* python2.4-hildon
* python2.4-osso

You can obtain these packages from this directions:

http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mistral/free/p/python2.4/
http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mistral/free/p/python-gtk2/

The periodic table is the oficial of the IUPAC obtained from this link:

The different values of the elements' properties were obtained of:

Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periodic_table
Gperiodic: http://gperiodic.seul.org/
Kalzium: http://edu.kde.org/kalzium/

It's possible that there is some error in the properties values, or that it isn't updated as possible.
