Attracted by the noise, Marcus, the instructor, arrives. "What has happened?"
he asks. "Don't worry any longer about Thanan. He's dead." You don't feel
happy, instead you feel shame after having killed such a young person.

Marcus nods. "So Thanan won't open the portal. That's good. Opening it should
be done by a person with a true sense for ethics and with more wisdom than he
had." Marcus sighs. "He had so many abilities...but I think he decided long
ago that he won't follow the way of the Temple forever." Marcus sighs, then:

"I ask myself why he went here to perfom his experiments." Carefully Marcus
examines the crypt. "There's nothing special about it, except..." He frowns,
then gets excited: "Wait...in this hollow in the wall...something metal-
lic..." Marcus grabs into the hole and some seconds later he returns with a
golden key. "What can be unlocked with this key?" you ask, but Marcus shrugs.
"I don't know, but there's an engraving: 'A gift by Eris, only for those who
prove to be brave enough'. Eris...the lost deity. She doesn't live in the
heavens like the other gods, but instead went to the core of Earth, waiting,
lurking. Perhaps this key is a way to her...?" Marcus whispers, then laughs.
"No, I think this is nonsense" he says and puts the key back into the hole.

"You'll find me in my library", he says and leaves.
